SU's Saferide offers transport to Brew River once again

Saferide's Executive Board announced yesterday it would be serving Salisbury University students at Brew River once again, after cancelling its transportation service to the restaurant during the Fall 2021 semester.

Safety surrounding the location had been a concern following local investigations, as previously reported by The Flyer.

Saferide had conversations with Brew River to "help ensure the safety of the students who use our service," with the assistance of Vice President of Student Affairs Dane Foust and Vice Chair of Town-Gown Council Lawanda Dokins-Mills, according to the organization's school-wide email.

SU students can now use Saferide for transportation home from Brew River between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. this spring semester.
