The Student Organization for Activity Planning has officially announced they will be canceling Nest Level, a concert for Salisbury University students. The COVID-19 pandemic greatly impacted the organization's decision to cancel.
“Sadly, after postponing the concert multiple times, it was decided by the artist to instead cancel the show completely,” SOAP President Sean Robinson said.
In the past, Salisbury has hosted a variety of notable artists from Mac Miller to A$AP Ferg. SOAP is still planning to host an artist, not yet determined, and various new activities Fall Semester of 2021.
“We are in the process of planning a large event for the next semester to replace the Nest Level concert (and events) ... you can expect to see a large event to the size of Nest Level to replace this (the event) in the upcoming fall,” said Robinson.
Although many of SU’s student body will miss the Nest Level this semester, it will be interesting to what SOAP will be orchestrating in the fall. For more updates on the future of this event and other events hosted through SOAP, check out involved@SU.com
