SU COVID-19 test site moves again

Salisbury University’s coronavirus testing site is on the move. Again.

All COVID-19 tests administered by the university will now take place in the Great Hall inside Holloway Hall, according to SU’s coronavirus website.

Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 14 and Dec. 16 are currently reserved as the semester’s last remaining testing days left for students, staff and faculty. Those tests may be scheduled here.

The Great Hall will be the third location university members will be receiving tests, as SU used the former Court Plaza shopping center for much of the semester’s coronavirus testing, until moving last week’s testing inside Maggs Physical Activity Center.

39 positive cases were identified during last week’s mandatory coronavirus testing of the entire campus following holiday break, leaving SU with a positivity rate of just 1%.

The university plans to continue with its current combination of in-person, fully online and hybrid-formatted instruction until the end of the semester on Dec. 18.
