SU mourns death of undergraduate

The Salisbury University community is mourning the death of undergraduate student Mitchell Coonley.

Coonley was enrolled in courses in the university’s College of Health and Human Services and Henson School of Science and Technology.

Funeral arrangements are currently being prepared, with the family communicating details to friends and classmates, according to a recent email by the SU Student Affairs Group.

Coonley was an active volunteer and taught his passion of skateboarding to young kids, per the email.


Updates will be made as more information becomes available on this developing story.
